Psssssstttttttttt.....guess what the word on the street is? FASHION WEEK is going digital this year! Think Airport Kiosk meets big apple fashion world. This year instead of guest lists on clipboards, and special lines for different guests there will be Kiosks to organize the madness. Upon arrival guests will register at a kiosk and their seating arrangements will be designated. No more special bands or stamps and excuses as to where you left your "ticket" and "who you know". If you dont have the printout from Kiosk you will be sent away. How is this going to play out for the spoiled group? is the question. I couldn't imagine someone famous or of high caliber being sent away like a kid with a fake ID at a tattoo parlor!

We all have that one friend that shows up at the last minute to support your venue / event (even though you tell them 2 months ahead) but at least they show up. I personally think the kiosk idea is great for organizational purposes and also to decrease chaotic setting. However..if you cannot purchase on the spot or have a "will call" situation for last minute friends / family / supporters it may cause more stress than desired when you have to do damage control. Theres pro's and con's to every idea..this is an idea they will just have to try for trial and error...gods speed to the event coordinators!
